The General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM), following the meeting of its Committee for the Attribution of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Label, has awarded its CSR label to Wafa Assurance and renewed it for Wafasalaf and Vivo Energy Morocco.

The granting of this label crowns the commitment of these companies in terms of CSR and the consideration, in their policy, of the expectations of their internal and external stakeholders, the Confederation indicates in a statement.

It is part of a process of continuous improvement of practices for the sustainability and strengthening of achievements, adds the same source.

As a reminder, the CGEM CSR Label aims to encourage Moroccan companies to adopt a comprehensive approach by taking into account economic, environmental, and social imperatives in their management strategy.

It is awarded following an evaluation of the companies’ practices in the nine areas of action constituting the CSR charter of the CGEM, in accordance with universal CSR objectives.

These objectives relate to human rights, labor relations and conditions, the environment, corruption prevention, fair competition, corporate governance, the interests of clients and consumers, issues related to suppliers and subcontractors, and commitment to the community.
